Dr. Kassim Mwitondi
Kassim obtained his PhD in Statistical Data Mining from the School of Mathematics of the University of Leeds, in 2003. His interdisciplinary work on Big Data Modelling of Sustainable Development Goals (BDMSDG), with Machine Learning (ML) applications in Agri-Food, Environment, Health and Education, is well–documented. His research work focuses on ML applications in modeling non-orthogonal real-life phenomena and promotes academia–industry partnerships and collaboration across disciplines and continents. He is a regular presenter at a number of international conferences on data science and related fields across the world, and he has published extensively in those areas. He sits on the editorial and advisory boards of several international bodies.
