Maximilian Bock

Dr. Maximilian Bock is the co-founder, COO, and co-CTO with a robust interdisciplinary background, including a Ph.D. in Nanophysics from the University of Cambridge, where he researched automated optical feedback looping in carbon nanotube generation. Dr. Bock also holds an MBA, is a certified Life-Cycle Assessment analyst, and has worked as a financial analyst with Goldman Sachs, Citi Group, and the 80cap hedge fund.
With over ten years of experience in project management and consulting, Dr. Bock has contributed to organizations such as UN Habitat, Microsoft Research, and Granta Design. He also founded two social impact companies, Madanyu and Netwookie, in the Global South. As a startup mentor for the World Bank and Founders Institute, he has guided emerging ventures and served as an investment manager at HTGF, Germany’s largest seed-stage investor, growing a portfolio valued at over €110 million.
