Okay Gunes

Okay Gunes is a Principal Research Scientist and Lead of AI at VEOLIA WATER STI, based in Paris. He holds a Ph.D. and a Postdoctoral degree in behavioral microeconomic modeling, with over 15 years of experience in the field. Dr. Gunes has a strong background in applied econometrics, specializing in prediction and forecasting, the customization of machine learning models, and the implementation of agile methodologies for the development of AI solutions and platforms. Throughout his career, Dr. Gunes has worked on a wide range of projects in both the public and private sectors, including collaborations with prominent organizations such as Total, L’Oréal, Natixis, Allianz, and Engie. His work is driven by a deep passion for creating tailored, data-driven AI solutions that meet the specific needs of his clients.
